Tripod Entertainment’s War of the Worlds: Goliath (WOTWG) is no ordinary animation. WOTWG is Malaysia’s first ever science-fiction animated movie in digital stereoscopic 3D.
WOTWG is the first local production to be featured at the Los Angeles 3D film festival, and also the country’s first winner of the Best 3D Animated Film prize. The animated movie took four years to make and was produced by Tripod Entertainment & directed by animation veteran Joe Pearson. Local actor, Tony Eusof lend his voice for the film alongside Peter Whingfield, Marl Sheppard and Adam Baldwin. WOTW beat out other industry staples such as Dreamworks’ Madagascar 3. Other movies in the same category were “Paranorman,” and “Tinker Bell: Secret of the Wings”.
